We took on the challenge of revitalizing the online presence of Empress Gin, a client with a rich heritage and a commitment to excellence. Our task was to seamlessly blend tradition with innovation, capturing the essence of this superior product, while paying homage to the iconic Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria, BC. Through strategic design decisions and meticulous attention to detail, we crafted a new custom WordPress website that not only showcases Empress Gin’s unique character, but also enhances the user experience with captivating animations done by FOE, and intuitive mobile UI/UX. Our goal was to capture the essence of this exceptional product while paying homage to the iconic Fairmont Empress Hotel. Leveraging intuitive mapping and enhanced UI/UX design, we took a visual approach that honored Victoria’s rich history, ensuring a textured tribute to the hotel’s legacy. Empress Gin’s story, from its inception to its signature ingredients like black tea and butterfly pea blossom, was artfully woven into the digital realm. In addition, our backend advancements ensured effortless client interaction and future scalability, providing a seamless transition from print to digital.
