Wandering Mollusk

Sustainability and longevity at the core of it all.

We’ve been working closely with Jess Taylor from the @wanderingmollusk for sometime now, so when he approached us about a full rebrand and overhaul on all print and digital materials, we headed straight to the drawing board. When factoring in the rebrand we considered their historical growth and our knowledge of where they are headed to design a rugged, timeless logotype with an emblem that nods to where it all started – Oysters.

Unique products require and innovative approach.

The updated label designs for their seafood buckets are based off of an established system that we put in place a couple of years ago. From there, we developed new, custom brand illustrations per label design to ensure the aesthetic was consistent across the board. Each bucket consists of its own unique colour and includes step by step instructions to get the most out of your unique experience.

 

A wealth of brand assets.

The Wandering Mollusk’s brand illustrative style is beautiful, yet rugged, not unlike the West Coast. We wanted to create assets that were easily transferable from print to digital. This provided a great opportunity to build out an archive of brand assets that will strengthen the brand and create unity among current products and future releases.

 

Ordering a memorable seafood feast has never been easier, or tastier.

Finally, we built out a custom WordPress eCommerce website based on WooCommerce. Their new site is fully loaded with client side tools so that Jess can manage and maintain the growth of the site as he goes forward. Integrated with a variety of parallax features, animations and newer technology such as Lotti – the new site ensures the Wandering Mollusk’s digital presence is reflective of their premium brand.
